Zoom NEURIG – Neural Amp and Effects Modeler

Zoom NEURIG is a compact floor modeler built around Zoom's DNA neural engine, which learns how an amp reacts across every knob position instead of freezing one snapshot. Add native NAM A2-Lite support, 139 effects, dual touchscreens and a rechargeable battery, and you get a full rig that fits a small pedalboard. At Soundium we see it as the modeler for players moving up from budget multi-effects.

Key Features

• DNA Engine: 30 amp and effect models that respond to gain and EQ moves like the real circuits.
• Native NAM A2-Lite: load amp, pedal and full-chain captures, with access to 700,000+ free TONE3000 captures and IRs.
• Capture your own gear: profile amps and pedals through Wi-Fi cloud processing, straight from the pedal.
• Multi-Layer cab IRs: 22 cabinets with selectable mics and positions, plus 50 slots for your own IRs.
• Gapless rig switching: up to 14 blocks per rig, 4 presets each, with delay and reverb trails left intact.
• SessionZ Pedal app: Bluetooth editing, Rig AI from text prompts, AI stem separation and play-along streaming.

Customer Benefits

NEURIG covers three jobs with one box. On stage it runs stereo to FOH or two amps, splits the signal between amp and PA, and handles the 4-cable method with real pedals through its send and return. At home it doubles as a 2-in/2-out USB audio interface, a headphone practice rig and a play-along station with Bluetooth audio. Battery power for up to 4.5 hours and an 850 g metal body mean no wall socket and no heavy lifting.

Pros and Cons

✅ Pros:

• Neural amp modeling plus NAM A2 support in one compact unit
• Battery operation, stereo outputs and send/return for flexible routing
• USB audio interface and looper built in

⚠️ Cons:

• AI features and the TONE3000 library depend on the SessionZ Pedal app, which is not available in every region
• Four footswitches can feel tight for players who want many stompbox-style switches at once

If you want modern neural tones without carrying a heavy floor unit, NEURIG is one of the most complete small rigs going. You can find it at Soundium, and its Control In jack takes Zoom's FP02M expression pedal or FS01 footswitch when you want more hands-free control.
