Previously I had a pair of Yamaha HS7 monitors which were great, but these Focals are an excellent upgrade. I haven’t got a treated room or measured the frequency response (yet) but they sound so flat across the frequency spectrum! I was worried they might sound boring but they are so enjoyable to listen to too. I wonder if the all-analog signal path contributes to that… anyway, highly highly recommended.
